Strengthens hairBiome-Strength Complex™
Why this ingredient exists
This is our name for three ingredients we use together: hydrolyzed keratin, hydrolyzed silk and panthenol. Keratin and silk put protein back into the hair. Panthenol keeps it soft so the hair doesn't feel stiff.
How it supports the formulation
It is in both the shampoo and the mask, at the same level. So you get it when you wash and again when you condition. Use the two together for the best result.

Controls oilZinc Lactate
Why this ingredient exists
Oily, acne-prone skin needs oil control, but strong actives can irritate it. Zinc lactate helps control oil and calm the skin, and it is gentle enough for twice-a-day use.
How it supports the formulation
It works with allantoin and panthenol in Clarive. The wash cleans, zinc helps with oil, and the other two keep the skin comfortable.

AntioxidantOnion Extract
Why this ingredient exists
Onion extract has been used in hair care for a long time. It is rich in antioxidants, and we use it in the mask for overall hair health.
How it supports the formulation
It plays a smaller role. Keratin and silk do the main work in the mask. Onion, amla and rosemary add antioxidants.

Holds moisturePanthenol
Why this ingredient exists
Panthenol is pro-vitamin B5. It pulls in water and holds it, so skin and hair stay soft and don't dry out.
How it supports the formulation
We use it in Clarive and in Folix Shampoo. In the face wash it stops the skin feeling tight. In the shampoo it keeps hair flexible, so it is less likely to snap.

Strengthens hairHydrolyzed Keratin & Hydrolyzed Silk
Why this ingredient exists
Hair breaks most when it is wet, while you wash and comb it. So I wanted a shampoo that protects the hair while it cleans.
How it supports the formulation
Keratin and silk coat and strengthen the strand. With polyquaternium-7 they also help detangle, so combing pulls less.

Calms skinAllantoin
Why this ingredient exists
Allantoin has a long track record for calming irritated, reactive skin. It helps keep a twice-daily face wash comfortable.
How it supports the formulation
It works with zinc lactate and panthenol in Clarive. Each one does a different job.

AntioxidantRosemary Extract
Why this ingredient exists
Rosemary leaf extract is an antioxidant that is commonly used for scalp and hair care.
How it supports the formulation
Like onion and amla, it is a supporting ingredient in the mask, alongside keratin and silk.

Why this ingredient exists
Amla has been used for hair in India for generations. It is rich in antioxidants and helps hair quality with regular use.
